Geography Project - Castlegregory

From 1956-1961, my great uncle Jack Dowling
was a member on the Kerry  football team.
He played in two All Ireland Finals in Croke Park.
This must be some part of where I get my interest in football.

County Kerry is  south of Ireland.Kerrys coast
is facing out towards the Atlantic Ocean
so it has plenty of beaches along  the west coast.
Kerry holds the longest beach in Ireland.Stretching
12 miles long, it starts in Cloghane and runs unbroken
 throughFermoyle, Castlegregory and Maharees.
You are ableto drive your car  along  the 12 mile stretch beach.

  1. This would have been an interesting project Orla. Pity you only completed two parts of it.

    Have a good summer.
