Finally Finished

Thank god its over.There was only two days of test but im a so excited for santie if felt like forever!Not competely over yet though because we still have to get up for 9 o clock tomorrow morning.We are going to be having a christmas party with the other two classes.Fodla are going to be holding the party for us.We will be giving our presents from chris-kindle(defiantly didnt spell that right).Afterwards were going bowling in Naas.So Excited for that because i love bowling.

Home-Ec Project

Tomorrow we have our home ec fashion show thingy.Im in a group with Laragh, Helen and Emma Barry.We got a white top and jeans and a colour and had to make something out of it.Our colour was blue so we decided to go with a Cinderella theme.We chose Helen to be our model.We have been nearly doing this since the start of the year and we are finally finished.To finish off the project we had to do a mood board,which was all the information we got on the project,like how we were inspired by what theme we went with and the speech we are going to be saying as Helen is walking down in the dress.Tomorrow morning we have to be in the hall for 9:05 and get started start away like doing her make up,hair and getting her dressed.We chose a Disney princess song for Helen to walk down in.There will be people there judging our dresses and by the end of it they will pick a winner.So fingers cross we win :)

Book Review

We were told to do a book review about a book we had recently read.The book i have chosen is "A child called it" by Dave Pelzer.

The book is a autobiography by Dave Pelzer.He writes about his struggle to stay alive in his home where he is treated like a slave and an animal.The book is three stories in one.The first "A child called it"story is about his childhood life living as a slave and being abused by his mother.The second story "A lost Boy" is about Dave being rescued by a social worker and and sent off to live in a foster home.As Dave doesn't settle in well with the new families he see himself being sent off to another foster home.The last story "A man named Dave" is about Dave leaving the foster home at 18 and going off to the air force.

The book is very gruesome, horrifying, disturbing but is also a very intriguing and you will want to read

 to the end.

My favorite  character is Dave growing up as an abuse and neglected child and doing so well in ife to prove his mother a point.He is one of the strongest characters i have come across in a novel

The end of the novel was definitely opposite to the beginning of the novel.I like the novel because it was a autobiography so the story was coming from the real life of the writer himself.He gives a message of how child abuse is happening and how serious it is.This book is totally different to any  other book I have ever read.

Juno and the Paycock

Yesterday all of the Tys headed off on and English trip.We went in on the bus to town and our first stop was at the WB Yeats expedition.It was good but it wasnt as good as the National History Museum.We got to see the bog body..they were sick!.
After all the museums we got to walk around graftan street for lunch.We had 45 minutes for lunch and had to meet up outside river island but we lost track of time and everyone was waiting.We all walked over from graftan street to the Abbey Theathre for the show at 2 o clock.I was really excited for the it because i have never been to a play before and didnt know what to expect.
When we got in we wehnt straight to out seats and not much longer that play had started.We were reading Juno and the Paycock in English class but i didnt really get what was going on in the story but the play was so much better.I was a really long day out.All the actresses were really good and sometimes it felt like i was sitting in the cinema.It was a long day and we only got home at half five but i enjoyed it.

Fun Walk

Howdie Y'all.
The fun was is soo stressfull we havent fully pick what were doing for the walk.Were dressing up as bananas and i dont even have any yellow clothes!It will be weird that we wont be doing the walk this year was we will be directing people where to go because tys do that ever year.Hopefully by tomorrow we will have it prepared and ready and wont make a fool of ourselves infront of everyone.A group of us drew out the map on big sheets to show people where were going on the walk.It was really hard to do because we didnt know celbridge aswell as we thought we did.The poster will be going up in the second year map.Hopefull our d
dance will be good tomorrow and everyone likes it.

Junior Cert

Howdie Y'all
First thing i may aswell start off with is that i didnt fail anything in my junior cert.But three days later and it is all forgotten about.I walked home from school with my friends hearing about what they got. They were all soo happy.When i got home my mam brought me and my little sister out for lunch in Maynooth.We went to the Avenue.I was enjoying my lunch until i saw isabelle fagan walk through the door of the resturant :L.I was in a rush to get home to get ready for that night.I got ready in my own house and meet everyone over in courtneys to get the bus to Time in naas.The bus on the way down was really really fun!It was my first time in Time lol.i crack myself up!It was as good as i was expecting it to be.Aimees brother collected us and brought us to the chinese.It was a terrific night.I've got to go now its time for lunch.OUT!

Whooping times!

Just came back from "Arlingford".Jaysus twas grrruat.At first i thought that the lazers were the best things ever.Until we came back to the center and realized there were boys in the main room.We went down for a lovely dinner, the sausages chips and beans were tasty.After we went back to the forest for the nightline.It was pretty scary because i was at the back of the line.We came back to the hostel and got a chinese and ate lots of sweets.We got a show from one of the instructors playing with fire it was class!Some of us stayed outside and practiced our modelling skills it was brill!We had to be up to the room at 11 and be asleep by half.Me Isabelle and Sive stay up until 3 that night was the best part of the whole trip,but we were wreck by the morning.The last day wasnt as good as i hoped it would be but we made it good.We left tired and excited for the next day.OUT!
